Dane Burr (1926 - 2013). Dane Burr was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1926. He was a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. Throughout his life, Dane made his living with his art and was especially well-known for his lyrical clay sculpture wich he sold to collectors worldwide. During the 1960s and 70s, he worked as an art instructor at Karamu House - known for multi-cultural theater and arts, as well as the Jewish Community Center and Supplementary Center in Cleveland.
